Tech Talent Academy recently hosted an engaging and impactful Robotics and Coding Workshop from 9th to 12th December 2024, bringing together 72 enthusiastic secondary school students to explore the exciting world of technology. The program aimed to introduce participants to robotics, coding, and project development using Arduino and other innovative tools.
Students and their schools developed a variety of innovative projects that showcased their creativity and technical skills. These projects included a Smart Fan, an automatic cooling system controlled by an ultrasonic sensor for proximity detection; a Sunflower Project, a solar tracker that mimics sunflower behavior by following sunlight; an Ultrasonic Parking Sensor, a parking assistance system designed to detect obstacles and alert users; a Weather Monitoring Station, which monitors temperature and humidity using IoT principles; an Obstacle-Avoiding Robot, capable of navigating autonomously by avoiding obstacles; a Mini Smart Traffic Light System, simulating real-world traffic control with pedestrian functionality; and a Home Security System, incorporating motion detection for enhanced safety. These projects not only provided hands-on experience but also highlighted the practical applications of robotics and coding in solving everyday challenges.
